But then I stitched some scenes together pretty quickly, like when I’d join up those sweet green Lego base plates. They are best appreciated in a larger size (since scaling them down just makes them look like low-res imagery and the illusion is busted), so give them a click.



I wondered if it would hold up at the city scale. Not bad. It’s a balance between getting a scale where features can be teased out, without losing the brick effect (seriously though, it only really works at full-size so click to embiggen). Cities with distinctive rivers work best, since they provide a reference at that goldilocks scale.
