      1. I had a student a few years ago create a map of Mount Rainier and 3d print it on our college printer. just a small and fairly simple prototype, but a new idea for all of us in the course. Interestingly, the student was severely visually impaired, who came to classes with her charming guide-dog, and took the ArcGIS Pro classes using a special lens piece on an accessibility machine set up for that purpose in our computer lab.
        Amazing resilience and successful at the end with her final project – a 3D printing contribution to tactile GIS.
        Now I need to figure out how she did it!
